Position: Registered Nurse- Operating Room

Location: Hartford, CT 06102

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 10.00 hour - AM Shift

Position Summary:
Provides nursing care in accordance with the objectives, policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital and AORN, ASPAN standards. Participates in patient teaching; incorporates the needs and behavior of the patient’s specific age/cultural groups in planning and providing care. Participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Operating Room RN – Ophthalmology experience
• CNOR certification recommended
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

License and Certification:

• RN State License - CT
• BLS from AHA
